NetSuite Settings/Preferences Snapshot

Good morning all.

My company has given me a task of documenting all current NetSuite settings/preferences before we begin some massive customization/new projects.

They have asked me to take screenshots and save them to disk. I am certain, however, that there should be a much easier way to export all preferences and settings out of NetSuite (whether it be a 3rd party program, or something NetSuite already has integrated).

Does anyone have best practices or experience with this? I'd greatly appreciate some feedback/advice.
