user redirects to wrong site (multi-site setup)

Every once in a while, we get a report from a user that, at some point in the checkout process, they get redirected to one of the other Netsuite sites we manage.  We have never been able to reproduce this, and I've heard of it happening maybe a half dozen times in 2 years.  Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?  We don't have any crazy Javascript doing any URL redirection, so we're kind of at a loss.
