Oneworld cross-domain cookie problem

Great,

So if someone comes through website (a) via a partner code, and then happens to come across website (b), it attempt to apply the same partner code to website (b).

This occurs when you go to checkout or register as it takes you to checkout.netsuite.com, where the cookie has been set already.

Not ideal. Does anyone have a solution to this hideous use of cookies?
