Mass Address Book Deletion

Maybe some of you could shed some light - any assistance would be appreciated.   I need a solution going forward.

We have a number of customers who drop ship.  As you can imagine the number of addresses which accumulate under some customers accounts increases dramatically by the day.   Since going live twelve months back, certain customer address books have filled up extensively and the webstore does not make the management of addresses very easy.

I'm looking for a way to mass delete addresses within certain customer address books barring the default billing/shipping address.  Some accounts have in excess over 250+ addresses which actually crashes the browser when trying to access.
