Sticky Notes Not Working for Accountant

Is there a way for non-employees to use the Sticky Notes feature? Our accountant has a login using the Free Accountant role and are able to see the Sticky Notes option, but isn't able to use/see the notes. I have looked int he configuration where you can enable the feature for either roles or employees/partners etc., but nothing regarding that Free Accountant seat.

Has anyone had this experience and know a way to make the feature work for the Free Accountant role?
