Global Search Does Not Return All Matching Records
While attempting to assist a user with their global search, I discovered a company record that exists in NetSuite, and is active, but does not display as a result in the Global Search window. Here are the steps:
In the global search window, user entered COM: Big Red Dog Dallas -- search came back with no results found.
User then tried just COM: Big Red Dog, and the results displayed for Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.
When I create a saved search to return all active company records where Big Red Dog is the Company Name, I get 4 results: Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.
