some emails originating from Netsuite not getting through to customers

Customer called this morning and requested an invoice be emailed.  One of my coworkers did it immediately.  Customer just called back and this time i sent it immediately.  While still on the phone she said she didnt get either one.  I saved the Invoice as a pdf and then sent it from Outlook instead of directly from Netsuite.  She got it instantly.

Any ideas?
