Please note that on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM Pacific time, our Case Management System will undergo a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4 hours. During this time, case creation via SuiteAnswers will be unavailable and inbound calls will be routed to Customer Service.
Possible to import "Other Names" entities?
We have several companies we need to import into NetSuite, and would prefer to keep them as "Other Names". For example, we have several press contacts and other technical resources which don't really follow the normal customer/vendor/partner relationship.
Under CSV import, the Relationships droplist doesn't show Other as an option.
Any known workarounds? I considered importing them as Leads, then adding the Other Names relationship manually (ugh), then somehow removing the Leads relationship, but there's no way to do that either. Once a relationship has been added, you're stuck with it!
