custom transaction form

we have a field 'warehouse notes' that is sourced from a custom sales order. the field is linked to a pick ticket and packing slip; however when printing a pick ticket or packing slip, only the first line of the field shows up. is there a way to have the printout use all of the data from the custom field?

i.e. if you type the following into the sales order field:

Please do not charge shipping
Send this with Sales Order 15213
Thank you

-- only 'Please do not charge shipping' will show up on the pick ticket.
