Fulfilling complex kits

I'm hoping that someone can help me figure out what Netsuite will do in this scenario (I couldn't figure it out from the help system).

I have multiple inventory locations, use a drop-shipper for some non-inventory items, and use pick/pack/ship to fulfill a single order in multiple fulfillments.

I would like to be able to create kits that use a combination of these items, so, for example, a single kit might contain items that are inventoried in multiple locations plus non-inventory drop-shipped items.

1.  Is this even possible?
2.  How do I fulfill individual components of a kit?
3.  Will Netsuite figure out when all the items in a kit have been fulfilled, and only then let me bill it?
