Search or Report on Customers without an Event

Hi-

Is there any good advice for creating a Search or Report that highlights a customer that HAS NOT had an event with a specific event type recorded in the past 90 days?  I can run reports all day long that summarize activity, but seem to struggle with identifying who we have not visited.

We have a commitment to visit each customer every 90 days and understanding who is still outstanding to visit to fulfill our commitment would go a long way.
