Need some help with a simple search

Hi,

I'm just trying to create a saved search for customers/contacts who bought a product from Group X a year ago and haven't rebought a product from Group X recently.  I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I just can't seem to get any sensible results.

The search I've client search I've created looks like this:

( Transaction Item : any of Group X AND
Transaction Date : is within same month last fiscal year ) AND
NOT ( Transaction Item : any of Group X AND
Transaction Date : is on or after 8 months ago )

I called Netsuite Gold Support and was told by the person on the end of the 'searches' help line that she "didn't know how to use expressions in searches," I would have been flabergasted but the previous 10 minutes of conversation had already made it patently obvious.  I'm very dissapointed in Netsuite though, why have someone on your help desk who can't even assist with simple functions?
