Searching on a field in a child record of a parent record
I'm trying to create a dynamic contact group for bulk emails based on 1) the contact's role, and 2) the value of a field in a custom child record of the company record. I am unable to generate a contact search for this because the fields of the custom child record of Customer don't show up in the criteria of the contact record search. I *can* generate a customer search that has as criteria contact role and customer child record value, since no field is more than one record away from the Company record. However, this generates a list of
