Formula to count contacts without grouping.

I've got a saved search that lists customers and their contacts.  One line for each customer/contact relationship.

Is there a formula I could use that would tell me how many contacts the customer has without grouping by customer?  I can do it easily in Crystal Reports but it'd be nice to get this working right in Netsuite.

An alternative would be to count the number of times a customer is on the report (that's how I do it in Crystal).

Any ideas are much appreciated.
