Inline Editing - Pricing Search

We have a huge update of our pricing across our entire range of products looming, and I was hoping we could set up a saved search to let our staff go down the list and edit the prices line by line.

I've got a couple of searches set up that let me enable inline editing, but the pricing fields aren't editable.    Not sure what I'm doing wrong.  Has anyone done something like this before?
