How can I List/Delete All Custom Records of a specified Type?

Does anyone know how to delete an entire list of Custom Records, without having to enter the internal ids of each individual record.

I am building an automated process which requires the full deletion of ALL custom records of a given type.

Alternatively if anyone can tell me how it's possible to obtain a list of All Custom records, then I can loop through and delete each one using the internal ids obtained.

It doesn't seem possible using the standard Web Services available, I could be wrong.

Please help if you can?
