Data base query via ODBC

I have been taking a crash course in Crystal, am advanced in Excel, and have been successful creating reports recently via database queries other than NS.  When I attempt to create reports fom NS using ODBC, I Can see the tables, but I am getting an error saying "That data source does not contain any visible tables."  I can see the headings- but no data displays. 

Anyone run into this?
