Please note that on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM Pacific time, our Case Management System will undergo a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4 hours. During this time, case creation via SuiteAnswers will be unavailable and inbound calls will be routed to Customer Service.
selected specific fields from a search
I would like to load a list of ALL our customers. Currently I'm doing it like this:
CustomerSearchBasic csb = new CustomerSearchBasic(); SearchResult results = _service.search(csb);
This takes FOREVER
Part of it could be the response SOAP is over 300Kb, although I can't tell how much of the time is spent on the query and how much is spent on data transfer...
The only fields I really need are the internalID and Company Name, but it appears that when you search for a customer you get all the fields which is expected. I can't find a way to select what fields I want to retrieve. I would think this is possible as NetSuite is concerned about efficient use of WebServices and not overloading the server.
