Sharing a login between browser and web services

We are developing a desktop application that will be used for some NetSuite operations that are too cludgy or complicated for some users (fulfillment people)

These same people use NetSuite in a browser to perform simple tasks.

Is there a way to share the session between the browser and my windows applciation?
