The WebServicesRecordsGuide.pdf v2.5 states:
"When adding a record, this field defaults to the current
system date and time. This field can be overwritten but, if
not, the default value is set regardless of any use default
settings"
When I try to do so, I get an error message:
"0: 327 - You do not have permissions to set a value for element datecreated due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases."
