Connection Timeout

I have a web app that adds new invoices through web services.  It has been working fine on inserting as late as 03/06/08 but on 3/09 started giving a connection timeout when an insert is attempted.  All other logins and queries to Netsuite work (which are in the same post) but strangely the insert times me out.  Also, it is an immediate timeout, as soon as the insert is attempted. 
I have tried placing a login just prior to the insert, but to no avail..  Any ideas?
