Sales Order search criteria being ignored

As of this morning our web services has broke when doing a search for sales orders. The search criteria entered is being ignored and the system is searching all sales orders in the system therefore reaching the max of 1000 transaction and causing problems to our internal systems. Has anyone else experienced this today? We get all our customer address info this way to use in courier system, so we are manually having to enter 400 consignments per day manually
