Retrieve Item from Custom list

Sorry guys..having a senior moment.
I have a custom list with 12000 entries.  Can only put 10000 at a time in a dictionary.

I have the internal id of the  list entry I want to retrieve, so the $64000 question.

I need a code snippet to retrieve the entry. I want to retrieve only that internal id.

Thanks In Advance.
