Sharepoint Designer 2010 (WSDL / REST)

Looks like Sharepoint Designer 2010 allows non-programmers to access WSDL and REST (http post submissions) via GUI interface.  Does anyone have any experience using either one of these data sources to work with NetSuite?  I want to simply create a couple of views in Sharepoint to display some saved searches via NetSuite web services.  Is there any documentation on this?
