How to access certain fields in custom record

Hi

Really struggling to find the reference for this, hopefully someone can help.

We have some custom record types that I want to query using nlapiSearchRecord. I'm using a filter on these searches (nlobjSearchFilter) but I can not work out how to access certain fields. I can access the custom fields we have added using e.g.: custrecord_recordtypename_startdate but I can't access the Inactive checkbox, or the Last Modified Date.

Does anyone know how I should reference those fields in a custom record?
