PHPToolkit Delete custom record
Has anyone managed to delete a custom record using PHPToolkit API version 2012.2?
I can delete standard records easily, and this operation is documented in SuiteAnswers, https://netsuite.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/26140/kw/PHPToolkit%20delete
I'm adding and updating custom records no problem via PHPToolkit, but the delete operation is eluding me. Here's the code, where I'm at now:

$ref = new RecordRef();
$ref->type = 'customRecord';
$ref->internalId = 15;
$contractItem = new RecordRef();
$contractItem->internalId = $internalId;

$request->baseRef = $contractItem;
$delResponse = $service->delete($request);
