Do not have permission to set a value element

I'm trying to update a customer.  When I get the response back from NS the error returned is:

You do not have permissions to set a value for element defaultaddress due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases."



Does anyone know how I can resolve this?  The account the WS is running under is an Administrator account.  Is there a special setting I need to change?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
