Upload a CSV to FTp

We are looking to upload a CSV to an FTP website.  I am looking for an alternative to building a site that pulls in the data from the search and builds a csv then uploads to the FTP  (seems like we are rebuilding the wheel).  We have the search built and want to export it automatically to the ftp once a day.  This is with SPS and does anyone have the experience with this?
