Proper use of the item naming fields (round two)
I started a new thread on this topic because my question was misunderstood in the old thread and it just got worse from there.
I received an email from NS today and it said:
We recommend or more commonly use:
Item Name/Number: 00123
Display Name/Code: Brass Widget
This is using the example of an item with SKU=00123 and the short descriptive description = "Brass Widget".
Given their advice,
I want to know (using the recommended use of the "Item Name/Number" and the "Display Name/Code" fields) how we can achieve our two display goals simultaneously...
1.
have the web-store shopping search results displaying the descriptive description (eg: Brass Widget) next to each item's thumbnail image.
