Related item web-store formatting issues

When we add related items, we have two issues.

1.  The thumbnails are too large and the resizing feature in NetSuite has no effect.  I call NS tech support and he confirmed that the related item thumbnail resizing feature is currently broken in NetSuite.  Does anyone have a work-around?

2.  How can we make the text "item labels" use a smaller font without changing the font size outside of the related item labels?  There isn't a font size preference in the item layout fields.  Is there one somewhere else that only effects the related item labels?
