Lame category cache

Earlier today, I added one of our products to another category (a promotional category). After spending 30 minutes trying to figure out why it wasn't showing, it started to magically appear.

So I went forth and added the rest of our promotional items.

Its been hours and they still arent showing.

Before you ask:
[LIST]
[*]Yes, they all have display in site and they are all appearing in their normal categories in the web site. I just added them to another category (the promotional one)
[*]Yes, I have gone to setup>website>setup and saved.
[*]Yes I have resaved each product about 496 times
