Video streaming in website for members only

We would like to have a area of our website to have a video section where paying members can view extra videos etc.

We don;t want to upload the videos in the file cabinet because of space etc and we don;t want to embed with YouTube because everyone would be able to view etc on YouTube.

Does anyone have any suggestions or knows a service where we can upload

Would we run a script to check they are logged in with a certain role?
