Display X number of items from a specified category on another page
We're trying to lay out a home page where we list 3 items from 3 different categories. Kind of like:
-category name 1-
[ item 1] [ item 2] [ item 3 ]
-category name 2-
[ item 1] [ item 2] [ item 3 ]
-category name 3-
[ item 1] [ item 2] [ item 3 ]
I'm looking for an easy way to add code to a template to just pull 3 products from each of those specified categories. So far I have had no luck. Is there built in functionality for this or is this something that needs to be tackled with suitescript?
