Working With Google Analytics

I find this documentation in the NetSuite help section.  Is anyone using this method to successfully track the website (Ecommerce) in Google Ananlytics?

I find that many NetSuite 3rd party providers have work arounds and was wondering what is wrong with the NetSuite integration that requires a "work around"?

Google Analytics enables you to understand how visitors interact with your Web site. In this way, it also helps you to optimize ad campaigns and Web site content for increased sales. Google Analytics data is based on visitor tracking information retrieved from your Web site.
