Considering powering our new site with NetSuite

Hello all,

I usually lurk in the Customization/SuiteScript/SuiteTalk area of the user group so I'm a newbie to most of you here I imagine.  My business needs a new web site and I'm considering using NetSuite to power the site.  The main reason that I am considering a site running on NetSuite is that this site will be our first e-commerce site and it's very appealing to avoid integrating an external platform with our NetSuite account.

I have a few questions that I'm hoping some of you will be able to spare a few moments and share your opinions.  I should warn you that I've never worked with NetSuite's public facing site builder features, not once.  I've also never created a retail/e-commerce site before so it could be that some of my questions are quite obvious.
