Customer Center is an absolute travesty, yet another miserable eCommerce hack/bodge

There's few things more important to an ecommerce site than a functional, user-friendly self-service 'my account' section. In NetSuite speak, this is known as the customer center.
Just like most of the eCommerce features in NetSuite, the current customer center implementation ****s so hard it makes me want to beat my cat. Okay, I don't have a cat so I just sit at home weeping. Every year or so we take another stab at customizing it and the project always degenerates into developers eating their young, or leaving mainstream society to go live in a log cabin. It's a HORRIBLE environment to work in, even worse than the way one constructs a website using "Advanced Site Builder" etc. :h_a_w:
