server side access to NS from external Web Store

Good morning,
I'm developing an integration between NetSuite and an external Web Store.
I would like to use server side HTTP calls to call NS shopping APIs (e.g.: adding items to cart, confirming an order, etc.).

Is this possible using SSP / SS?
Is it also possible using web services?
Are there any differences between SuiteBuilder and SuiteCommerce Advanced?

Could you please tell me which sections of the NS help I need to read to get informations about this topics?
