So, site-builder is officially 100% dead technology ..right?

The above quote is from another UG thread on a different topic and I felt is should be broken out into its own thread. Supposedly it is netSuite's response about Site builder improvements (which has been void of any major or minor improvements for many years now).
So, NS, are you saying that you wont be making responsive site-builder templates and trying to sell them to site-builder users as a canned "quick start" fix for getting a responsive SB site? If so, why wouldn't you just give access to those templates/bundles to your site-builder users? Give them some value in return for sticking with NetSuite through all the years of no SB improvements? Maybe you're not selling a responsive fix to your SB orphans and could comment either way.
