Now Limited to 5 alerts?

Went to change preferences, and realized that so doing invokes a 5 alert limit.

The limit to 5 alerts is a bit of a bummer.  We had come to rely on them, and then we get the rug pulled out from under us, a bit.

Can an exemption at least be made for Administrators?  5 across the board seems arbitrary, and not in line with the practical realities of how we need to manage the system.
