Trend graph broken only on first view

I have the trend graph "weekly cases closed trend" sitting on our customer dashboards.  When I first click to view the dashboard, the picture doesn't display, I get the little red X.  If I change the graph by hitting "monthly" and then back to "weekly" it works fine.  Has anyone experienced this?
