Item Dashboard needed

NetSuite added a dashboard for customers.  So, we can go to any customer record and then click "view dashboard" and see order history graphs and KPIs or whatever we put in there and all of the data relates to that customer.  This got me thinking that we could use something like that in our item records.  Then we could click "view dashboard" from any item record and see a graph of the item's sales performance data and/or inventory data for that particular item.  Can this be done with some customization or will we need to wait for NS to add
