Migrate Dashboard Customizations to New Role

I'm in a situation where I'm having to provide new roles to some users.  They find it very annoying having to set up their Dashboard customizations and other settings.  Many of them have been using their account as-is for years, so I understand that its annoying to set up a new role.  Is there anyway to migrate the customizations a user has made to his dashboard to a new role?  Thanks.
