Price inclusive of tax

I would like to enter an amount on a purchase transaction (Credit Card Transaction) that is inclusive of the tax that was paid, and have the system calculate the split between the tax and the purchase price. Is this possible?

Here is the scenario:

1) Import CC statement
2) Click "Find Match' (even though there is never a match)
3) Click ‘New Charges” tab, create new charge
4) Edit CC transaction to separate the tax and the purchase price from the total amount

I would appreciate any insight or workaround solution.
