Electronic Payments not written for all banks

So we have been told by our sales rep, after fighting about it for a year now. Apparently EP only supports a small group of banks, anything else and you need to go with advanced electronic payments to create your own template.
This sounds like a cop out to me, what a pot of crock.
Seriously NetSuite, get with the times... what has happened with continual product improvement?
