Reporting on custom record types

Hi

We have created many custome record types to store data not accomodated by the initial Netsuite table structure.  We store things like downtime for customers systems.

In both 10.6 and 11 there does not seem to be a way to create reports based on these record types.  Thus I can only create a search for the results I want but cannot create a report than can be scheduled or can be used as the based for an excel web query.

Anyone else having similar problems?
