Online Supplier / Vendor Form - Is It Possible?

Hi,

I would like to create an online supplier / vendor form.  Is this possible?

We have self-employed sub-contractors that apply to work with us.  I am trying to get an online application form set up that will automatically create a supplier record for me.

If it isn't possible, I guess the next best thing would be to use a custom record then run a script to create the vendor record when the application is approved?
