Using expressing in merge tags
Is it possible to have any logic in a merge field? Something like <<NLIF(NLNAME='', 'name exists', 'name doesn't exists')>>
I need to include the text "Hers" or "His" based on the value of a custom field ("gender"). I know I can add a custom field to the record and use a sourcing expression to determine this, but I would rather not liter the records with utility fields like this.
any help appreciated,
Steve
