Why doesn't an email signature show up in Netsuite?

My colleague's email signature does not show up on his outbound emails in Netsuite. We checked the Set Preferences, and he has his 'use email signature' checked, his 'From' filled in, his nickname filled in, and the correct HTML coding.

It almost looks like the email is rendering in plain text. Any ideas on what to check next?
