email domain and DKIM settings verification

I recently adjusted our settings within netsuite in an attempt to route emails through our domain rather than have them coming from Netsuite, since we were getting a few rejected emails.  I was told to setup the DKIm settings and adjust the domain within NS and within my domain manager.  I did this, but now am having a different problem. 

We have a custom record I created that is supposed to send an email to the person assigned whenever the record is created or updated unless the update sets the status to completed.  It was working fine until this week.  Now the emails either do not get sent or they get sent as much as 12 hours later.
