big issue here. not sure how long its been going - but to do with loc, dept, class
I could have just noticed this - or should I say Nick.
Nick Horowitz (one of my customers and a member on this forum) and I have been testing some scenarios to do with balance sheet effects on certain types of transactions.
So, if you create a check (write check) and simply put in the dept, class and location as well as the account number - you end up with a misformed GL impact. ie. the entry to the bank does not have dept, class and location but the opposite entry does.
Whats really wierd about this (and I think it confined to mem. transactions - I think) is that if you create the write check and memorize it - then execute it - it works as would be expected.
